Ovum Preemie Run 10k
In the month of November 2019, I ran my first quarter marathon that was presented by Ovum hospitals group to raise awareness and funds for providing premature babies a second chance at life. I started the race with a good pace, even finishing 5k in 26 minutes, however my stamina didn't last long and I slowed down in the second half. The roads were cleared and the weather was pleasant early in the morning. In a way, by running this marathon, I was motivated to take my personal fitness journey more seriously. Overall I finished in 1 hour and 2 minutes, a time that I aim to beat in my next marathon.
